Often, but transferring the design requires layout decisions—not just stretching it over a different template.
Provide the exact vehicle configuration
Year, make and model are a starting point. Wheelbase, roof height, cab and bed configuration, doors, windows and aftermarket parts can change the usable surfaces. Supply current photos of the actual vehicle and measurements requested by the producing shop.
Preserve the idea while adapting the layout
A stripe that works on a coupe may cross a door handle or window on a commercial van. Logos, phone numbers and graphic transitions need repositioning for the new shape. Identify the brand elements that cannot change and allow the designer to adjust their placement.
Review all relevant sides
Front, rear and side layouts should agree without relying on an AI image to infer missing information. Check seams, mirrored elements, opening panels and readability. Submit separate views together when you have them; AI2VINYL accepts multiple reference files in a request.
Leave final production verification with the shop
The installer and printer must verify template accuracy, actual dimensions, materials and allowances for their workflow. Artwork preparation does not replace a physical vehicle inspection. Any print or install service must be stated in the approved quote, including its location and responsibilities.
