The artwork field guide
Good concept.
Now make it usable.
Practical answers for customers and shops turning AI concepts into real wrap, sign and print artwork.

An AI mockup can show the direction of a wrap. It usually is not the file a shop can send straight to its printer.
Raster artwork is made of pixels and can look blurry or blocky when enlarged. Vector artwork uses paths, so its shapes and lettering stay sharp at larger sizes.
Read the guide ↗02 / AI to printHow does an AI wrap mockup become production artwork?
The process is reconstruction, layout and production preparation—not simply saving a picture as an EPS.
Read the guide ↗03 / Artwork basicsDoes a vehicle wrap need to be entirely vector?
No. Clean vectors are valuable for logos and lettering, but suitable raster imagery can be part of a professional wrap file.
Read the guide ↗04 / Artwork basicsWhy is wrap artwork sharp on screen but blurry when printed?
A small preview can hide missing detail. Check the image at its intended print dimensions before committing to production.
Read the guide ↗05 / Vehicle fitCan a wrap concept be recreated for a different vehicle?
Often, but transferring the design requires layout decisions—not just stretching it over a different template.
Read the guide ↗06 / Production checklistWhat files and information does a wrap printer need?
Agree on deliverables with the producing shop before final export. A preview image alone usually leaves important questions unanswered.
Read the guide ↗07 / For shopsMy customer brought an AI wrap design. What should my shop do?
Use the concept to establish the customer’s direction, then scope the production-art work before promising print or install dates.
Read the guide ↗08 / Artwork basicsCan an AI-generated logo or distorted lettering be repaired?
It can often be recreated, but the correct wording and intended brand appearance must come from you—not from guesswork.
